Jerome Post, Human Resources/Labor Relations Director

The Human Resources Department provides personnel services for all City of Kalamazoo employees. These services include employee relations, labor relations, safety, direct and indirect compensation (benefits), recruitment and retention, employment, training and development, and position classifications.

The Human Resources staff is committed to delivering efficient services and programs that enhance and improve employee relations throughout the entire organization. Staff can be contacted between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at 337-8052.
