Commissioner Miller is serving her fourth term on the City Commission.

A life long resident of Kalamazoo, Commissioner Miller has ably served her community on several different boards and commissions including the Kalamazoo Public School Board for 8 years (one year as President and Vice-President and two years as Treasurer). She is now serving on the board of Open Doors and Community Healing Centers. Other board member affiliations include Kalamazoo Communities in Schools and Residential Opportunities, Inc.

Her past community involvement includes working as a volunteer with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children as well as work on many school bond issues. She is also a member of First United Methodist Church and Kalamazoo Rotary.

A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Commissioner Miller has been married to Gordon for 37 years and is the mother of three children and three grandchildren.
