Below are links to the current Kalamazoo City Code of Ordinances and ordinances that have been adopted since the most recent Code supplement.  By City Charter all ordinances take effect 10 days after their adoption, unless a specific effective date is indicated.

Ordinance 1856 (The Anti-Discrimination Ordinance) - adopted on June 29, 2009. this ordinance is currently suspended pending a referendum vote on November 3, 2009.  The text of this ordinance will not be codified unless citizens vote to retain the ordinance.  Please click on the link at the beginning of this paragraph to view or print the Anti-Discrimination Ordinance.
