The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (PRAB) is a City Commission appointed advisory board consisting of nine voting members, all of whom shall be residents of the City of Kalamazoo and at least two members shall be 15-17 years of age.

The general duties of the board shall be to advise the City Manager and the City Commission regarding parks and recreation planning and programming.

applications for PRAB are available at the City Clerks Office or online through the City Clerk Department. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month, except where noted, at 5:20 p.m. Mayors' Riverfront Park. For more information contact the Parks and Recreation office at 337-8191.
