Cemeteries

The City owns two (2) cemeteries, Mountain Home Cemetery on West Main and Riverside Cemetery located at the corner of Gull Rd. and Riverview Drive. The city can provide current and historical burial information.  This can now be viewed online for both Riverside and Mountain Home Cemeteries.  For more information please call the cemetery office located at 415 Stockbridge Ave. at 337-8227.

Genealogy

The Cemetery office frequently provides limited genealogy information. Older records may not include birth or death dates, addresses, or family member names. Death certificates are only available from the Kalamazoo County Clerk’s office. You are welcome to make an appointment to review burial books, etc., if you have a large number of records to review.
