Pay City Invoices

The City of Kalamazoo invoices many services other than taxes and utilities. Invoices can be issued for things like cemetery fees, FOIA requests, development fees, or fees associated with rental registration. Some fines and penalties are also invoiced this way. You can make a payment for miscellaneous invoices online, by mail, by phone, in person, or using the drop box at City Hall.

The City of Kalamazoo accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, echeck, check, or cash. Please do not mail cash.

Note: the payment processor charges a 2.8% service fee (minimum $1.50) for credit/debit card payments and a $0.85 service fee for electronic checks. This is collected by the processor and applies to payments made online, by phone, and in person.

Online

Step 1.Visit the BS&A Online Portal

Online payments for utility bills can be made using the BS&A Online portal. Visit the portal using the link below. If you're not already there in BS&A, click "Miscellaneous Receivables" from the left hand menu under the "Online Payments" heading.

Step 2.Locate Your Invoice

Search for your invoice in BS&A. You can search by the invoice number or by the related property address. The invoice details will be shown near the bottom of the window. You can see the invoice date, due date, and amount due. Enter the amount that you wish to pay and click "Pay this Invoice".

Step 3.Make Your Payment

Once you click "Pay this Invoice", you will be directed to a payment page that will look different from BS&A (don't worry!). The page will prompt you to review your "cart" and display your account, name, address, and amount to pay. If this is correct, click the Checkout button.

Enter your payment information. If you want, you can create an account to save your payment information or set up recurring payments. If not, just click next.

Step 4.Review and Submit Payment

Before submitting your payment, review all information to ensure it is accurate and select a payment date. If everything looks good, agree to the terms and conditions and click Submit. A payment confirmation will be displayed in your browser, and you will receive a copy to the email you provided.
