Report Graffiti
After reporting graffiti, an inspector will visit the property within three days to confirm there is a code violation. We'll give the property owner a courtesy notice, letting them know they will have 10 days to remove the graffiti from their property. The notice will also include information about graffiti removal and how to get free supplies. If the graffiti isn't removed after 10 days, the property owner will receive a second notice and be assessed a violation fee. Enforcement will continue to escalate if the issue is not addressed, and the property owner could be issued a civil infraction.
Graffiti is rarely the property owner's fault. Our team will work with them and allow reasonable time extensions for them to remove graffiti to avoid enforcement or penalties.
