Event series includes food trucks, live music, and summertime games every Friday
Lunchtime Live! will return to Bronson Park (200 South Rose Street) in downtown Kalamazoo this summer starting Friday, June 11. This summer event series offers live music, summertime games, and a variety of food trucks every Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through September 10. Lunchtime Live! is presented by Lake Michigan Credit Union.
Attendees can expect to find food trucks lined up along the park on South Street as well as other vendors set up throughout the park with food and retail available to purchase. Visitors are encouraged to grab lunch and find a spot in the park to enjoy while maintaining distance from others. Each event will feature regional music talent on the Rotary Stage, located on the west end of the park. A music lineup and vendor registration is available at www.kzooparks.org/lunchtimelive
Attendees should remain cautious and follow CDC and local health official guidelines to protect themselves and the community from COVID-19.
Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) will also offer a special promotion for the first two Lunchtime Live! events. The first 40 attendees at the June 11 and June 18 events to visit the LMCU tent at the event and show that they have checked in to the Facebook event will receive a voucher for a free slice of cheesecake from Specialty Cheesecake.
Lunchtime Live! is free to attend and all community members are welcome.
