Draft 2025 CAPER Available for Public Review and Comment

The City of Kalamazoo is inviting community members to review and comment on its draft Program Year 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER), which summarizes how federal housing and community development resources were used during the past year.

The CAPER is submitted annually to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and describes activities completed with federal funding, progress toward community development goals, and accomplishments during the program year. The 2025 report covers July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.

The draft report will be available for public review and comment from 8 a.m. Monday, August 31, through 5 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2026. The report can be reviewed online on the City’s Community Development Plans & Reports webpage or in person at the Community Planning and Economic Development (CPED) office, 150 E. Crosstown Parkway, Suite B.

  • During the public hearing before the Kalamazoo City Commission

The public hearing will be held Monday, September 21, at 7 p.m. during the City Commission meeting at City Hall, 241 W. South Street.
