Many of our neighbors depend on sidewalks to stay connected all year (yes, even in winter). Accumulated snow and ice can make it unsafe or even impossible for people to use sidewalks, especially our older neighbors or people with disabilities.
City ordinance requires property owners to clear their sidewalks of snow and ice within 48 hours of snow fall. Please let us know if you notice uncleared sidewalks past this timeframe (please do not report within 48 hours to allow time for sidewalks to be cleared).
After it snows, city ordinance allows property owners 48 hours to clear their sidewalks of ice and snow. Please allow this time for snow to be cleared before reporting an uncleared sidewalk.
