We are currently experiencing a technical issue affecting some city phone lines that normally route to 311. If you need services or information by phone, please dial 311 or (269) 337-8000. Our team is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Non-essential City of Kalamazoo offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Regular hours will resume on Monday, December 1. Join us at the Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 28!
Many of our neighbors depend on sidewalks to stay connected all year (yes, even in winter). Accumulated snow and ice can make it unsafe or even impossible for people to use sidewalks, especially our older neighbors or people with disabilities.
City ordinance requires property owners to clear their sidewalks of snow and ice within 48 hours of snow fall. Please let us know if you notice uncleared sidewalks past this timeframe (please do not report within 48 hours to allow time for sidewalks to be cleared).
After it snows, city ordinance allows property owners 48 hours to clear their sidewalks of ice and snow. Please allow this time for snow to be cleared before reporting an uncleared sidewalk.
Complete the brief online form to report the issue online.
