Residents impacted by the April flooding can now apply for federal disaster assistance through FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The Community Planning & Economic Development (CPED) office is relocating to the Arthur Washington Jr. Crosstown Center at 150 E. Crosstown Parkway. Walk-in services will be unavailable beginning Monday, July 27 at 11:00 a.m. and will reopen Thursday, July 30 at 8:00 a.m. Phone service is expected to resume Wednesday afternoon. A Property Transfer Affidavit must be filed whenever real estate or some types of personal property are transferred (even if you are not recording a deed). The completed Affidavit must be filed by the new owner with the City Assessor's Office within 45 days of the transfer. The information on this form is not confidential.
