This application is required for:

  • All non-domestic industrial users seeking to maintain an existing connection to the sanitary sewer system, and
  • New non-domestic industrial users establishing a new connection to the sanitary sewer system within the City of Kalamazoo.

When Is the Application Required?

The application must be completed only when the above criteria apply, such as when a new non-domestic user is connecting to the system or when an existing connection lacks proper documentation.

Why Is This Information Required?

The application allows the City of Kalamazoo to:

  • Establish early communication with new or potential industrial contributors
  • Determine whether a user should be classified as a Significant Industrial User or Categorical Industrial Customer (minor)
