It is the intent of these specifications to provide a contractor who shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to line approximately 8,500 feet varying diameter cast iron water main using Aqua-Pipe®/ALTRA, or approved equal, cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) and associated tasks to the City of Kalamazoo as described in the specifications and bid document.
This contract includes, but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to complete the work detailed in the attached specifications and plans. The bidder shall furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, tools, equipment, and other means necessary or proper for performing and completing the work. The bidder shall be responsible for the cleaning up of the job site and shall repair or restore all structures and property that may be damaged or disturbed during performance of the work to the satisfaction of the Public Services Department for the City of Kalamazoo. Where needed, all traffic control used for such operations as defined by the MMUTCD will be the responsibility of the bidder.
