Notice of Funding Availability
The City of Kalamazoo anticipates allocating $120,000 in Federal grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the 2025 Program Year, which begins on July 1, 2025 and $100,000 in Federal grants from HUD for the 2026 Program Year, which begins on July 1, 2026. The approximate projected funding amounts are:
- PY2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) $120,000
- PY2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) $100,000
- Expected Total: $220,000
These funds will be directed towards public service activities. Fundable activities must be eligible under the rules and regulations of HUD, must be consistent with the City of Kalamazoo’s 2025 – 2029 Consolidated Plan(PDF, 13MB), and must assist low-income persons within Kalamazoo’s city limits.
