We flush the water system every spring and fall to remove minerals that accumulate in water mains and improve water flow. Flushing doesn’t affect water safety, but you may want to delay doing laundry to avoid potential discoloration of clothing. Please note the flushing schedule has been revised since the View from the Curb was mailed.
Night Markets are the place to be on a Thursday night in Kalamazoo! We’ll host around 100 vendors, and while you’ll find more Artisans than you’re used to on a Saturday, you’ll also be able to complete your trip with fresh fruits and veggies, meat, cheese, and a bunch of locally made value-added products. Local beer and wine are available for purchase at each Night Market!
