Kanoe the Kazoo

Help clean up parts of the Kalamazoo River and enjoy nature as you paddle along! This event will paddle from Merrill Park in Comstock to Verburg Park in Kalamazoo. 

• Vessel drop off/check-in: Check-in begins at 9:30AM, bagels, coffee, and swag provided by Kalamazoo River Watershed Council and the City of Kalamazoo. Guests with personal watercraft can drop equipment at Merrill Park.
• Vehicle shuttle provided: Guests will check-in, drop personal watercraft off at launch, and drive car down to Verburg Park where they will be shuttled back to Merrill Park to begin the paddle.
• Launch: 10:00am Merrill Park.
• Take out: 12:30pm from Verburg Park.
• Boat rentals: Available. Provided by Mainstream Tackle & Outdoors at $30 per kayak. Please indicate you need a boat rental on the registration form and call 269-665-5076 to book. These will be ready for you at Merrill Park.
