Citizens Public Safety Review and Appeal Board (CPSRAB)

The Citizens Public Safety Review and Appeal Board (CPSRAB) provides community oversight of the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety. CPSRAB hears community complaints that are appealed after they have been investigated by the Office of Professional Standards. The Board also serves in an advisory role to improve public safety service and polices, and works to build community trust, credibility and confidence.

Board Member Residency Requirements: Six members from diverse organizations representing diverse populations and six at-large members; priority given to City Residents with second priority given to non-residents having identifiable interests located in the city of Kalamazoo.
