We flush the water system every spring and fall to remove minerals that accumulate in water mains and improve water flow. Flushing doesn’t affect water safety, but you may want to delay doing laundry to avoid potential discoloration of clothing. Please note the flushing schedule has been revised since the View from the Curb was mailed.

The Kalamazoo City Election Commission is composed of the City Clerk, City Attorney, and City Assessor. The City Election Commission is responsible for caring out election related duties as specified in state law. They meet twice before each election- once to appoint Election Inspectors, and once to perform the public accuracy test.
