Consent Agenda (G)

The City Commission approved items G1-7 and postponed item G8 until December 1, 2025:

  1. Approval of a 63-month copier and printer maintenance cooperative contract with D.L. Gallivan through the Association of Educational Purchasing Agencies Contract #AEPAIFB071B in the amount of $128,770.74.
  2. Approval of a 63-month cooperative contract with Wells Fargo through the Association of Educational Purchasing Agencies Contract #AEPAIFB071B for the lease of new copiers and printers in the amount of $202,382.46.
  3. Adoption of a RESOLUTION certifying the Project Area Designation, establishing the Project District Area Boundaries, appointing additional Directors to the Economic Development Corporation Board, and scheduling a public hearing on December 15th for the Friendship Village of Kalamazoo Project.
  4. Adoption of a Restated RESOLUTION approving an application for a Commercial Rehabilitation Exemption at 261 E Kalamazoo Avenue.
  5. Adoption of a RESOLUTION setting a public hearing on December 15, 2025 to consider the proposed Fiscal Year 2026 Budget for the City of Kalamazoo.
  6. Approval of an amended lease agreement for 459 N. Rose St. between the City and the Central County Transportation Authority (Metro). 7. Approval of the Mayor's appointments and reappointments to the Local Officers Compensation Commission: - the appointment of William Reed for a full term expiring March 31, 2032 - the appointment of Levi Weintraub for a full term expiring March 31, 2032 - the reappointment of Mark Liddle for a full term expiring March 31, 2031 - the reappointment of Barbara Miller for a full term expiring March 31, 2031
  7. Approval of a purchase agreement for the sale of 459 N. Rose Street to Kalamazoo County for the sale price of $200,000. (Postpone until December 1, 2025)

The City Commission approved items H1-2:

  1. Approval of an agreement with United Way South Central Michigan/Continuum of Care to support winter shelter services in the amount of $300,000.
  2. Approval of an employment agreement with Patsy A. Moore for the position of Interim City Manager.
