Boil Water Advisory Lifted: S Burdick, E Cork

This advisory has been lifted. 

As of Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., the precautionary boil water advisory issued February 18, 2026, has been lifted by the City of Kalamazoo, in cooperation with the Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services Department. Citizens in the affected area can now use City water for consumption as well as all other purposes. Bacteriological sampling within the affected area verified that the water is safe to drink. The affected area is as follows: 

  • South Burdick Street- From East Cork Street (northern boundary) to Hutchinson Street (southern boundary), both sides of the roadway. It does not include the northwest corner of South Burdick Street and Hutchinson Street. 
  • East Cork Street- Only includes the southeast corner of East Cork Street and South Burdick Street.
