Michigan's Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program is designed to assist water suppliers in satisfying the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act by offering low-interest loans (for 20, 30, or 40-year loans) to eligible water suppliers.

The City of Kalamazoo publishes a Water Quality Report every year to share information about the quality of drinking water. Kalamazoo's report goes beyond the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act and includes a lot of additional information about the water we drink. Our team also provides additional testing and monitoring beyond what is required as an extra assurance to the community.

The Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) is a low interest loan financing program that assists qualified local municipalities with the construction of needed water pollution control facilities.

The City of Kalamazoo received a SAW Grant in December 2017 to prepare Wastewater and Stormwater Asset Management Plans. The Plans inventory the system's assets and assesses their condition. It also assesses criticality of assets, the level of service, operation & maintenance strategies, and long-term funding and capital improvements.

The Odor Task Force provides quarterly updates to the City Commission on efforts to reduce odors. You can view these reports, related data, and other reports related to odors below.  

The Water Fixed Assets Reports show the cost of all the system's fixed assets as well as other financial information like their depreciation and book value.
