If you are unable to pay your utility bill by the stated due date, you may request a payment extension. An extension provides an additional two weeks beyond your current due date.
Eligibility requirements:
- All prior utility bills must be paid in full.
- Extensions cannot be granted after the designated shutoff notice due date.
- A maximum of two extensions may be issued per calendar year.
Extension requests may be submitted online or in person at the City’s Stockbridge Offices, located at 415 E. Stockbridge Avenue. A copy of your Driver’s License or State Identification Card must accompany your request. A member of our staff will respond within 72 hours with further information regarding your extension.
