Apply for Business Licenses

The City Charter requires certain types of businesses to be licensed to operate in the City of Kalamazoo. Information on these licenses is provided below. Some business may not require a license from the city, but would require a license from Kalamazoo County, the State of Michigan, or another regulating authority. If you are starting a business, make sure you know what licenses are required.
